Valentine’s Day Foodie Date Ideas- Andheri

We’ve all had mixed feelings about Valentine’s day. While one thinks it is lame, the other looks at this as an opportunity to plan random lunches, dinners, trips, anything for a reason to celebrate. Like the Chef pointed out last week, for him and me, everyday is Valentine’s day, so why not use this day, to plan a fun foodie date for others? You don’t have to worry if you’re single, if you have a relationship with food, that counts! ūüôā So if you’re a foodie and are open to ideas , we have compiled a list of things you could do on Valentine’s day. More like a food hop for you! Cheap or expensive, simple or fancy you’ll only realize, how much fun it can be, when you’re doing it with the person you LOWE.

For the Andheri Peeps!
Start your day with a beautiful breakfast at Jamjar Diner, which is on your way to Yari Road.
This beautiful yet huge Diner has some great breakfast items like Pancakes (from Classic to Nutella+Banana), Waffles (fresh fruit and choco chip), Eggs Kejriwal Toast (for the desi breakfast lovers) and Giant Jam Jar Benedict (Poached eggs, Smoked Bacon, Jalapeno & Cheddar Waffle) Yum!

For lunch you can head to, Cafe Mangii for a european experience. You must try the Cheese fondue here (you know, to make your Vday nice and cheesy #sorry).
They offer some really nice thin crust, wood fired pizzas. We found out that the recommended pizzas are Mediterranean or Cajun Chicken and Margarita. Their Risotto with asparagus and porcini mushrooms, cooked in champagne is quite popular too! And they have Apple Crumble Pie on their dessert menu *slurp*

Address: Cafe Mangii28, Aram Nagar 1, Versova, Andheri West, Mumbai

If you feel like some decently priced Malwani food, you can check out Malwani Kkalwan in 7 Bungalows for a Simple Sea Food “Affair”. Their Prawn chili fry and the fish Reichado are worth trying!¬†
Address:  Malwani Kkalwani, Nana Nani Park, JP Road, 7 Bungalows, Andheri West, Mumbai

You could try catching a movie at PVR Citi Mall, Saving Mr. Banks where Tom Hanks plays Walt Disney or the new animated Lego Movie.
¬†If you are still hungry you must head to¬†New Sernyaa cafe.¬†Not the fanciest of places, but we hear, some of the best conversations happen in tiny simple little cafes over a plate of pan fried momos and Spare ribs ūüôā ¬†(BEST MOMOS EVER)
Address: New Sernyaa, 185, Oshiwara Link Road, Adarsh Nagar, Andheri West, Mumbai
For dinner, you should try, Woodside All day Eatery. We hear their Chef has prepared a special Valentines Day menu, which, going by the standard of Woodside food, should be awesome! Beer Lovers will love the variety of International beer! (try their  latest brews from Gateway Brewing Co) Oh and they have some really nice desserts, such as Baked Blueberry Cheese Cake and  Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Berry Compote, that should be fun to dig into, right?
Address: Woodside, New Link Plaza, Next to Oshiwara Police Station, Oshiwara, Andheri West, Mumbai
And lastly, ¬†since it is a Friday night, and you’re in your party mode, head down to Boveda, where an array for special Cocktails (made by Siddharth Hegde) ¬†are surely going to be a winner for all the ladies. We hear they are also having games and challenges for the boys, to prove their love to their ladies.
Address: Boveda, G04, Morya Landmark One, Plot B-25, Off New Link Road, Oshiwara Village, Andheri Lokhandwala, Andheri West, Mumbai
Another good choice for EDM music is, The Little Door, they’re hosting a traffic signal party with free unlimited love shots! So dress in your reds (if you’re taken, amber is you’re confused and green if you’re single) and head there to party your head off!
