Everyone’s favorite, Mamagoto (Bandra and Fort) is bringing back their old fav dishes back, but its only if you ask for it.
Well regulars of Mamagoto were a little disappointed when their old classic favorites were taken off the menu for a newer menu. So the team decided to make a “Can you keep a secret” menu where they’re them bringing back. Menu classics include Grilled Robata Aubergine, Indonesian Prawn, Lamb Massaman with flatbread and many more!
What we thought:
So we just got back from Bangkok last week and so it wasn’t the best offering for us. But the Lamb Massaman was really the stand out barring the Roti as it had gone dry. We also liked the Banana leaf wrapped Rice and vegetables served with a nice nutty sauce.
Other dishes included a Tom Kha which was a soup made with thick coconut milk and served with Prawn Skewers and noodles, Katsudan Chicken with Japanese rice and Thai Glass noodle salad.
This is an on request menu only, and happening in their Bandra and Fort branches. Bringing back the classics for their guests is an amazing idea, would like it if there were some desserts and cocktail/mocktails as it would only increase the whole experience.
